Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Summer Internship Program
Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Inc. offers a summer internship program that provides an exciting educational opportunity for those exploring a career at Amylin as well as in the biotech/life sciences industry. Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is committed to improving the lives of people with diabetes and other metabolic diseases through the discovery, development, and commercialization of innovative, cost-effective medicines. We seek students who are interested in building a relationship with Amylin through joining our efforts in this commitment. Each student is presented an opportunity to explore career possibilities and gain valuable experience through challenging projects and a dedicated mentor.
The Recruiting Process
Summer internships are typically 10 to 12 weeks in duration, beginning in May or June and ending in August or September. Resumes are typically accepted starting in January. Interested students may apply using the Job Title link of the internship opportunity of interest.
General Requirements/Information:
  • Interns must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States under the current Immigration and Naturalization Service laws.
  • Interns must be available to start in May or June through August or September, for a period of 10 to 12 weeks.
  • No relocation or housing services will be provided.
  • Interns may be expected to give a presentation detailing their project at the end of the summer.
  • Activities will be scheduled throughout the program, and may include Q&A sessions with senior management, educational seminars, and/or after-hours recreational events.
  • Interns will be given an opportunity to complete a brief survey at the conclusion of the program.
