Amylin funds grant requests for the following types of activities. Please review the information carefully to be sure you are submitting for the right type of grant.Independent Medical Education Grants
Amylin provides funding to qualified organizations that advance medicine, promote healthcare professional education for both accredited or non-accredited independent medical/scientific education. Educational and scientific donations are offered in Amylin's therapeutic areas of interest: metabolic medicine, the role of relevant peptide hormones and the clinical management of diabetes. Prioritization will be given to accredited educational activities focused on improving patient care and preventing the long term complications of diabetes.- For more information, Click Here.

Professional Association Grants
Support for national or regional organizations or medical societies including corporate memberships, general support for infrastructure, and Research Awards. This does not include grant requests to fund specific Independent Medical Education activities (CME, ISE, etc.).- For more information, Click Here.

Patient Affairs & Advocacy Grants

Community Affairs Grants

Independent Research Grants
Support for independent investigator-initiated studies related to pramlintide, leptin, or exenatide should be presented to your local Amylin Medical Science Liaison or e-mail us at IIT@amylin.com.The AGO must receive all necessary documentation at least 30 days prior to the start date of your activity. The AGO will make every effort to provide a response at least 45 days prior to the event start date.
